We believe in building a foundation when learning to ride. It is NOT just about sitting the saddle. Its about the relationship with your horse.

Vaulting is such a confidence builder.

Horseback riding goes to an entirely new level when you add gymnastics on horseback. This activity is fun, challenging and truly rewarding.

Drill team, flag team and team work.

We start from the ground using CHA foundation teaching principals. Grooming, handling, tacking, trail, jumping and speed.

Horse riding lessons are provided using proven lesson plans and strategies.

The lesson sign up sheet and concussion form must be completed and mailed with the first week lesson fee of $35 to hold your spot. Once we receive all applications for the season we will send out the schedule for each student. You can expect a young beginner lesson on Monday, a 2nd level class on Wednesday and an older beginner class on Thursday. Level 3 and above will be on Mondays and show dates will be posted as we received them. Young RIder - My Buddy and Me

At Maple Ridge Stables, LLC, we offer a wide variety of lesson options....but this is a favorite. Riders between the age of 5-8 bring a buddy and they work as a team to learn how to catch, lead, tie, groom, saddle and ride. This is an amazing opportunity to bond with your favorite human and a horse. Build your confidence and make some memories.

Class days are Mondays, April 6,13,20 and the 27th.

Cost is $200 for the course

Beginner Riders 8-11 English

This class helps new riders to learn the basics of English. We learn about the tack, how to use it, how it differs from Western and other disciplines. We will learn to post the trot correctly and enjoy the closer contact with our horse!

Class is Tuesday, April 7,14,21 & 28 cost is $140

Intermediate English Riders 12+

This class will refresh riders on the fundamentals of English and allow riders to improve their seat, develop a great 2 point position and do some basic work over poles. We can modify this class to the students ability to allow for increased work over jumps. Cost is $140

Class is Wednesday, April 1,8,15 and 29th

Our Story

Founded by a family of passionate equestrians, Maple Ridge Stables, LLC is dedicated to providing exceptional products and services to riders of all levels. Our team is made up of experienced riders and trainers who share a love for horses and the sport of riding.

Lesson and Programs designed for every age and every level of rider

We believe in creating amazing lifetime equestrians. This is a sport that can be shared by families and maintained over a lifetime. The discipline, work ethic and passion of these students translates into fundamental traits we carry throughout our lives both personally and professionally.

Weekly Lesson Programs

Our ongoing group lesson program begins the beginning of May and continues until September, but can be continued into October for those not involved in other sports.

Lessons continue to be $35 per week, to be paid monthly on the last day of the previous month. Please complete the lesson form and hold harmless for your student and indicate riding level to determine class placement.
